Bands

  • Xstatix
A jazz band, and they're awesome! Check 'em out! They hosted a webcast a while back and played "Above and Beyond" on their webcast and gave us major kudos for the song. Really cool people.

  • Abandonato
A little lighter than Play Hooky - think Toto and John Waite with an edge. Really good, solid stuff.

  • AnaDies
If you like Play Hooky, you'll like this band. Good rock and roll with hints of a wide range of influences.

  • Born In Winter
A dark melodic rock that is rare and yet beautiful. A band-ful of dynamics - they get a lot of sound out of three people.

  • Corrupting Celest
These guys are really good. And young. They have a lot of potential to go places. Definitely check them out if you get the chance.

  • Distant Warning
Distant Warning is an all original, five piece melodic rock band hailing from Colorado Springs. Ron (vox) and Duane (lead guitar) first formed the core of this band back in 1997.

  • Fried Arm
Sorry, no web site for these guys at the moment, but we had to mention them. Hard core heavy metal - fast, tight and loud!

  • GPM
Originally formed in '95, G.P.M. was a regular in the Colorado music scene, thru the mid-nineties. They're first independent full length cd release, was well received, and their unique sound and approach, garnered them a richly diverse fanbase.

  • Grindscape
Do not show up unless you plan on having your hair peeled back. These guys rock - straight up. We're talking a heavy, HEAVY sound that's tighter than a gnat's hiney. Moshing is encouraged, but not required.

  • Melanie Susuras Band
Excellent jazz/folk/latin-tinged rock and roll with some wicked drums/percussion. Really good stuff and tighter than tight!
  • Mystic 7
A three-piece, all original rock and roll band, with a diverse style that ranges from classic rock to hard-edged metal.

  • Tail End Charlie
A bit lighter than the Hooky stuff. It's been described as a mix between Alice in Chains and John Tesh.

  • Big Mystery Ape
Dance music - completely sampled. Not terribly original, but you can dance to it and it's fun to listen to. Try it, you might like it.

  • Velvet Rut
Velvet Rut is a Colorado Springs Original Band, formed in the summer of 2001. Please take the time to listen to some of our Songs and check out our Store. Support Local Music.
